Biography of Laura Creagan - Owner

Racing Highlights and Achievements

Laura Creagan, American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified Personal Trainer ™, certified USAT Triathlon Coach, certified USA Cycling Coach, certified Professional Ski Instructor of America (PSIA) Nordic Instructor and founder of New England Endurance Training has more than 14 years of coaching experience in the sport of XC Skiing and training. Her individual focus and holistic approach encompasses all aspects and mechanics of the human body, lifestyle, nutrition, and mental fitness - for a well-balanced/complete athlete. Laura holds multiple certifications, a wealth of experience and knowledge, and personal liability insurance.
Her most impressive success came when she qualified in January 2008 for the ITU World Winter Triathlon Championships in Germany by winning all three of the winter triathlon/duathlon races in New England. She qualified again in January 2009 and competed in the ITU World Winter Triathlon Championships in Gaishorn am See, Austria. In February 2009, she was the only American age-group female to compete the World Winter Triathlon Championships in Austria. Laura won the silver medal in her age group and placed 5th overall in the world in the women’s race. She also posted the fastest women’s ski race split on the course with no waxing support or assistance.

Laura is a three time New England Jr. National XC Ski Team Coach at the Junior Olympics/Nationals in Alaska, New York and Utah and was sponsored by the Atomic ski company. She has coached for the state of Maine and NH at regional competitions such as Eastern High School Championships and the J2 Championships for Nordic Skiing.

Several athletes that she has trained were ranked among the top 5 Nordic Skiers in New England (both male and female). From 2007-2009, Laura served as head coach with the Bedford High School Ski Team
